Retail Council of Canada (RCC) is very proud to have been a supporter and judge at this year’s Retail Innovation Challenge hosted by DX3. It was truly exciting to see some of the industry’s most creative digital thinkers present their ideas and knowing, that by introducing them to the senior retail executives on RCC’s Board, the dreams and ideas of these talented Retail Innovation Challenge winners will find a way.
Innovation in retail is the lifeblood of our industry. Helping retailers build their businesses to ensure we have a vibrant retail sector in Canada is RCC’s focus. Among the many things we do as the advocate for 45,000 small, medium and large retailers in Canada (roughly 70% of all retail sales in Canada go through our members), is curate and produce world-class conferences such as our upcoming STORE 2017.
The year’s STORE 2017, Canada’s biggest retail conference (May 30-31 2017 at the Toronto Congress Centre), will feature an exceptional line-up of industry disruptors and retail innovation champions. This packed two-day conference will also showcase the latest developments across multiple areas including: digital & mobile, grocery, marketing, merchant & supply chain, operations and entrepreneurial retail.
It is in everyone’s best interest that we have a dynamic and forward thinking retail sector in Canada. Retail is after all Canada’s largest private sector employer! I urge you to consider attending STORE 2017 and gain insights on how you can apply some of the latest trends in retail innovation to your business.
