Facebook Canada Toronto Office Will Move To MaRS Discover District

Facebook Offices at MaRS

This morning, MaRS announced on its Facebook page (fittingly) that Facebook Canada would become its newest tenant in 2016.

Facebook Canada will be making the move from its office at Yonge and Eglinton, which it opened in 2012. Facebook also has an office in Vancouver.

Facebook is currently hiring agency and client partners for its Canadian offices.

MaRS DD Community Manager Jennifer Marron added more context to how Facebook will add to the MaRS community of companies.

Thrilled to announce our newest MaRS tenant — Facebook Canada!

Starting in 2016, MaRS will be home to Facebook Canada’s new HQ. Facebook is joining the District to tap into the innovation, ideas, and unrivalled community access offered at MaRS. Facebook’s mission is to make the world more open and connected, which fits perfectly with MaRS’ vision of attracting forward-thinking entrepreneurs and corporations eager to develop innovations that will change the world. More than 20 million Canadians use Facebook each month, with more than 1.44 billion active globally.
